Name: Bart Davis

1) What is your job title? Police Chief. 

2) What does your job entail? Overall department operations. Directives, policies, responsible for fleet, equipment, scheduling, recruiting and hiring related to the state certifications, paperwork and personnel work. 

3) What does a day look like for you? Depends on the time of year. Organizing and coordinating special events on the security side. Budget work and working on buggy festival right now. This year is a fleet rotation so upgrading vehicles and FCC compliance upgrades for the radios. Also planning for Police Department and finding a new space for the department. 

4) Why did you want to become a Police Officer? The way I was raised. I believe in fairness and defending those who cannot defend themselves. I was in the military and after I was out I did ride-alongs with my brother who was an officer and decided to become one. My father was a police officer as well. 

5) What is your favorite movie? Fracture.

6) What is your favorite food? Mexican.
