The Town of Carthage has issued a Water Shortage Alert and is asking all customers to conserve water. Effective Monday, July 6th, all Class 3 (Non-Essential) Water Uses are prohibited under the Town's Water Shortage Conservation Ordinance. This includes watering lawns, gardens, landscaped areas, parks, and other recreational areas, as well as ornamental ponds and similar features.
