Phase 1 of the Carthage Downtown Revitalization Project is anticipated to begin Monday, August 31, 2026. The downtown traffic circle will be closed to ALL vehicle traffic for ONE WEEK as construction crews work to begin the installation of pedestrian crosswalk islands. Buggy Festival shirts from years past are free for the taking up at Town Hall. Donations are appreciated as they will help fund this years shirts. There are men, women, and kid sizes available. Town Hall is open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Just a reminder that this years Buggy Festival is on May 10th.
