The Town of Carthage has issued a Water Shortage Alert and is asking all customers to conserve water. Effective Monday, July 6th, all Class 3 (Non-Essential) Water Uses are prohibited under the Town's Water Shortage Conservation Ordinance. This includes watering lawns, gardens, landscaped areas, parks, and other recreational areas, as well as ornamental ponds and similar features.

The proposed annual budget for fiscal year 2024-2025 is now available for the public's review and comment. The Board of Commissioners will conduct a special called meeting where the Town Manager will official present the budget to the Board. The public budget hearing date has not yet been set but we will publish this date and time once identified.
