The Town of Carthage will hold multiple Public Hearings on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the McDonald Building located at 207 McReynolds Street to discuss the following topics:
1. The Board will consider a request for a text amendment to the “Town of Carthage 2040 Comprehensive Land Use Plan” with regard to references to the Historic Preservation Commission; Petitioner: Town of Carthage.
2. The Board will consider a Conditional Zoning request for the property located at 832 Dowd Road where the current zoning is AP and the request is for AP-CZ, PARID 20040368 and PARID 20060255; Petitioner: James Gaston.
3. The Board will review the new Unified Development Ordinance for consideration and adoption. This first section will covering the topics of the Table of Permitted Uses, Use Standards, Zoning Districts, and Dimensional Requirements.
