McDonald Building

The McDonald Building was donated to the Town of Carthage by the Carthage Rotary Club and serves as the chambers for the Carthage Board of Commissioners to hold their meetings and conduct the business of the town.  The building can also be rented for special events. The chambers remain closed when the Board of Commissioners or other governmental bodies are not in session. 

Please call Town Hall to make your reservation and complete your rental application.

Your full weekend reservation gives you access to the building from the time you pick up the key on Friday to 9:00 a.m. Monday.

Rates

NEW for 2025-2026

The Board of Commissioners voted to adjust the fees for public building rentals as part of the FY 25-26 budget. The following rental fees are for full weekend rentals beginning at the time the building key is picked up on Friday until 9:00 am Monday. Single day weekend rentals are not available.

 

Security Deposit:  $100

In-Town Resident Rate:  $300/full weekend

Out-of-Town Resident Rate: $400/full weekend

Alcohol Permit:  $50 one-time fee
