The downtown traffic circle will be closed to ALL vehicle traffic for ONE WEEK as construction crews work to begin the installation of pedestrian crosswalk islands. Caviness Park is a small pocket park offering visitors a quiet and calming place to rest while visiting Downtown Carthage. Take a break under the pergola and enjoy the swinging benches and flowers or go for a quick stroll down the brick walkway and look for the names of those who helped make Caviness Park possible. Don't forget to visit the Little Library at the end of the walkway!
