The Town of Carthage adopts its budget every year by July 1st as required by General Statute. For copies of proposed, current or past budgets please visit the Town Hall or contact the Town Clerk at (910) 947-2331 or via email.
PUBLIC NOTICE
Per NCGS Chapter 159-12, the proposed FY 2025-26 budget is now available for public inspection. A public hearing to consider adoption of the proposed budget will be held Monday, June 16, 2025 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the McDonald Building located at 207 McReynolds Street.

The public hearing to adopt the FY 2025-2026 budget will be held on Monday, June 16th beginning at 6:30 p.m. All members of the public are invited to attend and share their comments on the proposed budget. The budget was presented on May 19, 2025 at the regular open meeting of the Carthage Board of Commissioners.
