The downtown revitalization project is moving into its next steps. On January 31st, 2025 the Board of Commissioners will be looking through the bids to pick a designer, to start drawing up ideas for phases one and two of the downtown revitalization project. The plan, is for construction to begin sometime in September of 2025. This project is intended to improve pedestrian safety and drivers traveling through downtown, as well as to improve the appearance of the core of our community while promoting economic and community development.
