Fire Department

The Carthage Fire and Rescue is located at 4396 Highway 15-501 Carthage NC. The department is staffed with a Full Time Chief, 2 full Time Captains, and 36 part time firefighters that staff the station 24/7/365 on rotating shifts. The Carthage Fire and Rescue provides Fire, Medium Rescue, and Basic Life Support to a district that covers approx. 120 square miles and protects a population of 8,000 citizens.
