Our Government

The Town of Carthage operates under a Council-Manager form of government and consists of a Mayor, Mayor Pro-Tem, and four Commissioners. Together they are charged with the general government and administration of the affairs of the town.

The regular meetings of the Board of Commissioners are held on the third Monday of every month beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room of the McDonald Building located at 207 McReynolds Street.
