Buggy Festival

Come and enjoy the 27th annual Buggy Festival to be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with the Buggy Idol contest starting at 4:30 p.m.   Held in downtown Carthage come enjoy all day music, car show, craft and food vendors and FREE children's area.  One of the biggest and best know festivals in the region!  For more information, please visit or click here for a vendor application.
Run for the Buddies Race

Communities in Schools of Moore County will be hosting their third annual Run for the Buddies race that will begin and end at New Century Middle School located at 1577 Union Church Road in Carthage. Registration opens at 7:00 a.m. The Fun Run starts at 8:00 a.m. ($15.00) and the 5K begins at 8:30 a.m. ($25.00).  Forms available at or for more information contact Bryana Nelson at 910-295-1072 or or click here.

DAV Memorial 5K Run
